The Wireless Alerta Detect uses infrared technology to raise an alarm when body movement is detected within its beam. It works best mounted at the door or bedside, alerting carers when a user leaves their safe zone, so users keep the freedom of their own space while carers get early warning. It connects to a nurse call system through the Alerta Wall Point Receiver for centralised alerts, or can give local alerts through the receiver alone.
