Thermal Image Sensor

£275.00 ex VAT£330.00 inc VAT

A ceiling mounted thermal image sensor that monitors bed occupancy and movement, alerting staff when a resident at risk of falls gets up. Part of SafeGuard for Dementia.

Product Details

The SafeGuard Sensor monitors rooms where a resident is prone to falling or wandering at night. Fitted on the ceiling, it uses thermal imaging to detect movement in pre-defined areas, so residents can change sleeping position without raising false alarms. It can switch on a room light when it detects movement, helping reduce falls, and removes the need for pressure mats and cables, cutting trip hazards and infection risk. It runs on the Intercall Bus as a standalone SafeGuard system or as part of the Touch nurse call system.
